Energy Infrastructure Blog

While not quite a community blog, this page provides an ongoing documentation of our group's continuing work. As we work through the details of the future energy scenarios for the I-80 corridor on this page we will periodically convene a group conference call to summarize, organize, enhance, and agree on scenario content. This will allow for continuous work on our important, collective project while we each continue working our other, important individual pursuits.

I will provide an initial post inviting further discussion. Each of you email me your thoughts to be posted. I will cut and paste those thoughts into a new post as I receive the emails. If we sign up for the RSS feeds we will be notified when a new post is available.  Finally, remember the older posts are at the bottom of the following list of posts. OK, let's get started...

Rebooting

Perry:
I continue encountering challenges getting the group all back together, often of the personal kind. Here are my thoughts on rebooting out undertaking. One initial thought is to review our original "situational framework" of critical uncertainties, predetermined elements, and driving forces. I believe they are still valid and could benefit from our observations of what has occurred in the last two years. The other reboot action would be to review the Transportation Research Board's 750 Report that included Energy. There may be some thoughts and inspirations for our work. The link to that report is on our website Home page. What are your thoughts?

Remember, this is the first post and will be at the bottom of the list...
